Northern Willows

Northern Willows is a mystery/fantasy/noir, fiction story i've been writing since 2022. It follows two detectives and cast of other bizarre characters, as they all navigate a missing persons case, on a strange island.

My inspirations for this story include TBHC-era Arctic Monekeys, Twin Peaks, Lost, and Haven, as well as The Backrooms and Silent Hill.

I'm not writing the story chapters in order, and I'm not being consistent in how often I update it. But I AM working on it. As of now (November of 2025), I'm made a few huge updated to the story on my blog. At least the beginning portions are starting to come together.
